  russell believed Armaggedon commenced in 1874, and that it would escalate and build over a period of forty years, ending in 1914.
  This 40 year period, called "the harvest" coincided in "Parallel" with the years 30ce thru 70 ce.
  This explanation of mine is open to modifications, such as whether it started 29ce, or 30ce, but is basically correct.
  Russell expected many events to occur before 1914 arrived. Example, the return of the Jews to Jerusalem. When this hadnt happened, or didnt look like happening by 1910, 1912, Russell started to slip around and hedge his bets a bit.Thus WT quotes from 1912 with Russell saying ."WE have not predicted anything".
  The fact that the Jews reestablished in Israel in 1948 has been the wellspring of much current predictive date setting amongst current Christian revivalists .Some claim the "generation" will end in 2018.

  I fail to see that any true dub would accept information posted on the internet. For my own part, I was not satisfied until having read the full history, from original publications. Not Berean repros but originals.

  Heres Mr Russell from the WT of August 1889:
  ...."The foundation of the great apostacy was laid in the seperation of a class (called clergy)from the church of believers in general...

  for me, the word was "loving".. great "loving" kindness.. great undeserved "loving" kindness!.

  disfellowshipping is a "loving" provision.. when the wtbts want their accolytes to swallow another bitter pill, another restriction, another rebuke, another demand on time, the buzz word is "loving".. the "loving" word, is, to the average jw, the same as the mccabe nod is to the salesman.

  the mccabe nod is used by salesman all the time to get the prospective customer to agree to something that he doesn't care for too much.

  A new revelation...
  Flies are MUTATING
  has anyone else noticed this ,or am I the only observant one?
  In my intensive studies (conducted while stalking around the house with a can of spray) . I have gathered evidence from direct observation, that flies are :
  a)Now, picking up on the vibration of intent . They can tell what your thinking and go crazy with panic as soon as you think "wheres the spray".
  b) they are becoming more sensitive to vibration in the air picking up the spreading lethal mist in the air and changing direction accordingly.

  Something is going on folks!! My brother and I recieved this understanding while under the influence of the sacred weed.

  i carry hard feelings towards them and their teachings but, i have been seeing many negative attitudes against jehoavh himself.

  Recall Abraham, he had his son strapped onto a pire preparing to offer God a human blood sacrifice.
  God stopped him doing it (according to the story)still, Abraham had been in direct relationship with God for years prior to this incident,
  obviously Abraham thought human sacrifice in the worship of Jah was proper behaviour.Besides, God asked him to do it..

  The theres the old Judge Jepthah story, offering his daughter as a sacrifice.
  Dubs say that this was not a literal sacrifice of her life, but a contextual reading of the story does nothing to dispel the notion that it was a blood sacrifice.

  Toilet Seat Up Or Down??????

  we have no problems in our relationship about the toilet seat.

  but others seem to make a big deal as to whether the guy should leave it down for us ladies.. what's your take on this?

  take into account ladies that if a man puts it down, and we leave it down, he has to always be putting it up.

  Seat is supposed to be up. Joshua goes for wee wee at 3am, half asleep. Wifey goes for wee wee at 4 am, wifey never switches on the light, wifey sits....
